He is a seasoned entrepreneur, a graduate of Engineering with extensive expertise in the Information Technology (IT), business development, project management, strategic consulting and business intelligence in both the public and private sectors.
Endeared with a pedigree in managing and supporting IT & business development projects combined with a working experience spanning over 15 years, he has worked per excellence locally and internationally in managerial capacity combining the strategic skills in leading, overseeing the development and growth of profitable business ventures with the aid of technological tools while maintaining effective key strategic alliances.
He currently oversees the Dataformatics Group.
Dr. Heiner Lehr is Director at the helm of Gidigba’s Agro and Product Export Standards and Certification. He is UNIDO’s Lead consultant driving the Conduit of Excellence project. Dr. Heiner Lehr has a long career in software innovation, specializing in consulting and development of large-scale international projects. He has worked for a large variety of companies, including media giant Bertelsmann AG.
Before turning his attention to food, he was a pioneer in interactive television and led prestigious projects in the area of supply chain management. Dr. Heiner Lehr has been actively involved in traceability and food information management since 2003.
